Our goal was to reposition ourselves in the market with a fresh, professional look that truly reflects our brand’s mission. Our original logo was created quickly when our founder, Sarah, launched the company. At the time, she was focused on getting the business off the ground and didn’t invest much into the branding. However, as we’ve grown, we realized our old logo no longer represented the quality of work we deliver. That’s why investing in a strong, professional brand identity is essential for any business.

Our original logo was quick and simple, but it didn’t capture the essence of the hard work and dedication we put into every client project. In May 2024, Sarah made the decision to rebrand the company to better align with our vision for growth and to attract the high-end clients we wanted. The goal for the new logo design was to reflect a luxurious, modern, and minimalist style. Here are the initial concepts we explored:
During the rebranding process, we realized the thinner logo designs would be difficult to see on apparel and other branded materials. This led us to narrow down our options to two choices: a circle logo and an oval logo. After careful consideration, we chose the circle logo as the best representation of our brand. And thus, the new Wave Marketing logo was born.

Maintaining consistency in fonts across all marketing channels is crucial for brand recognition. Before our rebrand, Wave lacked cohesive font choices and branding elements. It was essential for us to create a unified look, ensuring that whether someone views our social media posts or visits our website, everything is distinctly Wave and instantly recognizable to potential and existing clients. Interestingly, we found selecting the right fonts to be more challenging than choosing our logo. We opted for a bold and unique main font, Restora, and paired it with professional subsidiary fonts, BR Cobane and GT Walsheim, to create a harmonious and visually appealing brand identity.

We collaborated with our graphic designer, Olivia, to develop a luxurious color palette that still reflects the essence of Wave. While our original branding featured light blue and gray, we transitioned to a more sophisticated look with deep blue, rich green, and elegant gold as our primary colors. This transformation elevates our brand into the luxury space we aspire to occupy. Choosing the right colors is crucial when rebranding, as color recognition and meaning significantly influence the perception of your brand. A well-defined color scheme not only enhances visual appeal but also reinforces your brand identity in the market.

We took our rebranding a step further by designing custom brand patterns that complement our logo and are uniquely ours. These patterns are used across our website and marketing materials to create a cohesive visual identity. Our primary brand pattern is often featured on the left side of the design, providing a sleek, consistent look. For a more playful vibe, we use our secondary, more funky pattern on the right. Incorporating brand patterns is essential because they enhance brand recognition and give your business a distinctive, memorable look.
