Increase your reach with 518 Foodies influencer partnerships

Last week, we had the pleasure of filming a 518 Foodies video for Bread Basket Bakery and Chris’ Coffee. Creating these videos is one of our favorite activities at Wave Marketing! Besides our wide range of clients, 518 Foodies is also one of our valued clients. As their content creators, we help manage their Instagram account, which has grown to 30,000 followers. We began working with 518 Foodies in April 2023, when they had 11,000 followers, and we've continued to grow their account to over 30,000 followers in just a year. Our specialty is growing accounts through data-driven strategies.

Here’s what we ordered: an Iced Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte made with Chris’ Coffee, a Raspberry Iced Tea with mixed berries also supplied by Chris’ Coffee, the Eddie M breakfast sandwich on a bagel, a Jalapeno Cheddar Scone, a Croissant, and The Broadway Sandwich on Italian bread. We also got a behind the scenes tour of the bakery downstairs!

Here’s how the 518 Foodies videos work: We come in and film the video, with the restaurant selecting which dishes they want to showcase. We require a minimum of three dishes, and we choose our favorite to encourage our followers to save the video for their next visit. I typically recommend featuring your more unique or standout items to attract more views. We take both pictures and videos of all the dishes to post on our Instagram and Facebook. The videos usually get around 15,000 to 20,000 views and are shared on the 518 Foodies Instagram as well as any other relevant collaborations.

For this collaboration, Chris’ Coffee was the main focus. We aimed to feature a food brand without a physical location by highlighting the places where their coffee is served. Bread Basket in Saratoga Springs, New York, one of their existing clients, was the perfect spot to showcase Chris’ Coffee! We work with both nonfood brands and food brands. If you are a restaurant you can get a featured reel on our Instagram. If you are a nonfood brand, you can sponsor the reel of a restaurant.

For posting, we coordinate with all parties involved to agree on a release date. Once the video is posted, it will be shared across all the associated Instagram accounts, leading to higher viewership. This reel received 8K views, 500 engagements, and reached 76% of new followers.
